A very important point to know regarding Creation vs. Evolution

Webster’s dictionary defines ignorant as “lacking knowledge” or “unaware.” Thus if someone says something untrue, they are either lying, or ignorant.

Evolutionists constantly say things that are erroneous…I think some of them are lying and some are ignorant and need educating.

Here are two examples of where Evolutionists are dead wrong:

1) In Great Britain, there is a growing controversy. Many Islamic students are rejecting the theory of evolution on the college campuses. To make a long story short, a British professor stated that he feared the colleges would be giving degrees to doctors who did not believe the bacteria and flu viruses can mutate.

2) Doonesbury, the comic strip by Garry Trudeau, had a character say:

“Intelligent design concedes limited evolution. It has to because micro-evolution is so easily observed in nature.” The groovy looking character then makes the point that evolution is thus “empirical” and “reason.” He later says that intelligent design is “faith,” and overcome by “reason.”

Is the British professor ignorant or a lying?

Is Garry Trudeau ignorant or lying? They both are saying something that is false.

Here is the issue. Creationists think:

Bacteria can only come from bacteria. Bacteria can mutate, but it is still bacteria.
Bees can only come from bees.
Trees can only come from trees.
Whales can only come from whales.
People can only come from people.

Evolutionists think:

The ancient ancestors of bees are bacteria.
The ancient ancestors of trees are bacteria.
The ancient ancestors of whales are bacteria.
The ancient ancestors of people are bacteria.

Creationists believe there are varieties of bees, but they are still bees.
Creationists believe there are varieties of trees, but they are still trees.
Creationists believe there are varieties of whales, but they are still whales.
Creationists believe there are varieties of people, but they are still people.

Creationists have no problem with microevolution or variation…Creationists have a problem with whales having bacterial ancestors.

I have debated evolutionists, watched debates by evolutionists, witnessed to evolutionists, read books and articles by evolutionists and have learned this: their main argument for the Theory of Evolution being true is “micro evolution” or variation.

You could have 10 children, and they could be faster or slower than you. They could be smarter or dumber than you. They could be taller or shorter than you. They could have red hair, blonde hair or brown hair…but they are still humans!

Evolutionists use the fact of variation as “evidence” for the Theory of Evolution. When they do this….are they lying or ignorant?

Final point: the word “evolution” means change. Changes occur all the time (i.e. people are taller than they used to be). The Theory of Evolution teaches the ancestors of humans are bacteria. Thus I prefer to say “I do not believe in the Theory of Evolution,” rather than saying “I do not believe in Evolution.” (Since some people regard variation or microevolution as “Evolution.”)
