Are Dinosaurs evidence for Evolution?

No! There are no "missing links" (transitional forms) for dinosaurs. This is very important to know. Evolution, if it really occurred, should have many missing links, and there are none for dinosaurs. Thus dinosaurs, like all the other fossils that have been found, are evidence for creation (fossils that show the animal is fully functional and fully formed).

But they lived 65 to 130 million years ago right?

Even if they did (which I don’t believe) that is an argument about the age of the earth, not about the Theory of Evolution. Evolution must show evidence that one animal’s off spring "turned into" a different type animal. The earth could be a trillion years old, but there is still no evidence that evolution occurred - for dinosaurs or any other animal. Remember that evolution believes bacteria are the ancestors of dinosaurs, there is no evidence for that.

What killed the dinosaurs?

The foundation of science is observation, thus science can only address what killed the dinosaurs we find fossils of; and the answer is obvious! The dinosaur’s fossils that are found are in sedimentary rock! Sedimentary rock is rock deposited by water. There is only one way an animal could get buried in rock deposited by water…and that is by a major flood! This deposit had to be severe enough to prevent the animal from escaping. And guess what? These dinosaur fossils are found in sedimentary rock all over the world…just what you would expect from a global flood like Noah’s flood!

Are dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible?

Yes! They are described in detail in Job chapters 40 and 41. They were called Leviathan and Behemoth. These details were provided thousands of years before scientists began study of dinosaurs in the 1850’s. Some Christians think the Bible was symbolic here, but that is not the case since God was impressing Job, and the reader of His great power in being able to control such large and actual animals.

Why were some of them so big?

Reptiles grow until they die. The Bible teaches people used to live a lot longer than they do today. If the reptiles and reptile-like animals lived longer, it is logical to expect some of them to be very large.

Were they on the Ark? If so, how did they fit on it?

The Bible says all animals were on the ark, and since so many dinosaurs are in sedimentary rock, it is logical to believe they lived during the flood. How did they fit…that is easy, they could have been very young thus very small. After the flood, they went extinct in the post flood environment.
